The PGY-5 Year

PGY-5 level trainees function as chief residents on the major services centered at Barnes-Jewish and Saint Louis Children's Hospital. The senior level resident is responsible for the care of all patients on his/her respective service and closely supervises junior level residents on all rotations.

These rotations include:
• Orthopaedic Trauma
• Super Chief rotation (Tailored to the interests of each chief)
• Musculoskeletal Oncology / Tumor
• Pediatric Orthopaedics at St Louis Children's Hospital
• General Adult, Reconstruction & Trauma at the VA
• Joint Reconstruction & Replacement
