Barnes-Jewish Hospital is located on the Washington University Medical Center campus and has 1,350 beds, a Level I trauma program and 50 operating rooms. Rated by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best hospitals in the country, BJH is supported by a house staff of more than 850 trainees. As the main teaching hospital affiliated with the residency program, residents are provided exposure to both specialty faculty- and resident-directed clinics. Exposure is characterized by high volume and by a diversity of clinical experience. The following rotations are based primarily at Barnes-Jewish Hospital: upper extremity, musculoskeletal oncology, adult reconstruction and joint replacement, spine, sports, foot and ankle and trauma.

Located on the campus of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University Medical Center, the Center for Advanced Medicine (also known as the CAM) is a new facility purpose-designed for outpatient diagnostics and procedures that includes a surgicenter and a comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer center. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery holds clinical office hours in Suites A and B on the sixth floor of the Center for Advanced Medicine.

The new outpatient orthopedic center, in Chesterfield a collaborative effort between Washington University Orthopedics and Barnes-Jewish Hospital located in West St. Louis County, offers comprehensive orthopaedic care for patients of all ages.
