Cell Biology

Background

After completing a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies from the College of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Bari, Italy, Dr. Faccio served as a research fellow at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. She then completed her doctorate in cell science and biotechnologies from the University of Bari. Before joining the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in September of 2004, Dr. Faccio served on the faculty as a research scientist in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine.
